Awwmann.. spider webs are growing in every corner of my blog now. I know have been lazy in updating my blog and I’m updating now for the sake of reviving it and pull back loyal readers, though I doubt that you are one of them.

It has been a month settling in Seremban and I have been gradually getting use to the life here. Starting with probably the most “easiest” among all three postings in semester 6, clinical school is tough afterall. Life is completely different from the one in Bukit Jalil where we were spoon fed everyday with notes and lecturers singing lovely lullabies in the comfy lecture hall. Here in Seremban, we were almost clueless on what to begin with on the first day landing our foot in the hospital or the government clinic; we were clueless on how to clerk patients, obtaining histories and subsequently presenting it to our lecturers, often we will feel darn stupid when the lecturer expected a more detailed, precise histories and skilled physical examinations from us; we were clueless on what to study as there were no lectures given (IMU practices self directed learning, which I think it is useless as we have no initial direction), morning occupied with either ward rounds or teaching clinic and noon – TBLs. Life here is all about history taking and physical examination. Cycle starts everyday.. oh wait, perhaps in every postings. Completely different from Phase 1 back in the Bukit Jalil days where we lived with lectures and constant after-class mugging. Gosh..

Oh well..

I had fun too. Blessed with 3 cheeky housemates, I soon inherited their syndrome of being ultra-lame. House environment wise, I likey my room, though it is pretty hot during the noon, and likey the setting of my rented house: small, single storey, no-need-to-sweep-and-mop-like-mad-setting, almost perfect for lazy bumps like us and comes with a huge dinosaur-like tree opposite the main door (as described by Ian.. trust me, it has got Barney-like features, just that it is leafy!!). Dinner wise, we often crack our heads hard deciding as there are not many hawker stalls. Restaurants are super duper expensive and since we are cheapo people, this already narrowed down our dining place. Usually we ended up in the 2 ringgit vegetarian restaurant when our wallets are getting slimmer. Besides, I’ve tasted Seremban so-called “famous” crab restaurant, hmm.. doubt so, lamb chop here and there around town, the-must-eat-siew-pow-whenever-you-step-into-Seremban and the banana leaf rice. However, holes formed in my wallet with each visit to those places.

Shopping wise, there is this reasonable Jusco and Tesco in town. Seremban parade looks quite miserable for me, but all in all, KL will be the top of my list.. about 30 minutes drive away from here? Guess so huh.

And there you go.. life in Seremban, and I’m flying to Port Dickson to meet my assigned patient next week. Will be exploring every nook and cranny of Negri Semblian soon!!! In the meantime, adios!

PS: gosh, finally got my blog updated! Phew~
